Kathmandu, May 19-Switzerland has pledged to aid Nepal with emergency health supplies for the prevention and control of COVID-19. In a telephonic conversation with Deputy Prime Minister Ishwar Pokharel on Wednesday, Swiss Ambassador for Nepal Elizabeth Von Capeller shared that Switzerland is providing Nepal with different health support materials in its fight against coronavirus, informed DPM’s press advisor Ganesh Pandey.
According to the Ambassador, the Swiss government is aiding oxygen concentrator, PPE, masks and antigen test kit. On the occasion, Swiss Ambassador also informed that the cargo chartered flight of Gulliv Air carrying the emergency health aid will be arriving Kathmandu on Saturday. The Swiss government will bear the flight costs involved in the transport of health assistance. (RSS)
