काठमाडौं – यही वैशाख २६ गते (मे ९) बाट सार्वजनिक प्रदर्शनमा आउन लागेको नेपाली फिल्म ‘जार’ को वर्ल्ड प्रिमियरका लागि निर्माण टिम सिक्किम प्रस्थान गरेको छ। निर्देशक फुर्वा छिरिङ लामा, कार्यकारी निर्माता त्रिलोचन पाण्डे, अभिनेता द्वय सौगात मल्ल र अनुपविक्रम शाही, साथै गायिका तथा संगीतकार झुमा लिम्बुसहितको टोली मङ्गलवार बिहान सिक्किम प्रस्थान गरेको हो।
फिल्मको वर्ल्ड प्रिमियर यही बुधवार गान्तोक, सिक्किममा आयोजना हुँदैछ। प्रिमियरमा फिल्म तथा कला साहित्यसँग सम्बन्धित विशिष्ट व्यक्तित्वहरू, राजनीतिज्ञ, व्यापारी तथा समाजसेवीहरूको उपस्थिति रहनेछ। निर्देशक लामाले भव्य समारोहको तयारी भएको जानकारी दिएका छन्।
सिक्किमपछि फिल्मको दोस्रो प्रिमियर मे ३ तारिखमा भारतको सिलिगुडी (सिलिगुरी) मा तय गरिएको छ। स्थानीय दर्शक तथा शुभचिन्तकहरूसँग फिल्म अवलोकन गर्दै कलाकार तथा निर्माण टिमले प्रतिक्रिया लिनेछ। त्यस्तै दार्जिलिङमा पनि फिल्मको प्रचारात्मक कार्यक्रम आयोजना हुने भएको छ।
साहित्यकार इन्द्रबहादुर राईको ऐतिहासिक कथामा आधारित फिल्म ‘जार’ मा सौगात मल्ल, अनुपविक्रम शाहीसँगै भारतीय राष्ट्रिय चलचित्र पुरस्कार विजेता अभिनेत्री गीताञ्जली थापाले प्रमुख भूमिकामा अभिनय गरेका छन्।
फिल्मको छायांकन सरवानन इलावार्सुले गरेका हुन् भने सम्पादन अखिलेश राईले सम्हालेका छन्। ‘जार’ होप रिल्स, एलए सेभेन सर्ट्स, बराल स्टुडियो र किवा प्रोडक्सनको सहकार्यमा निर्माण भएको हो। फिल्मका कार्यकारी निर्मातामा नीरज राई, नुर्साङ भुटिया, ज्योती क्षेत्री र पेमा रिन्जिङ लेप्चा रहेका छन्।
Kathmandu – The team behind the Nepali film ‘Jaar’, set for public release on Baisakh 26 (May 9), has departed for Sikkim to attend its world premiere. Director Phurba Tsering Lama, executive producer Trilochan Pandey, actors Saugat Malla and Anoop Bikram Shahi, along with singer and composer Jhuma Limbu, left for Sikkim on Tuesday morning.
The world premiere of the film is scheduled for this Wednesday in Gangtok, Sikkim. According to director Lama, the premiere will be a grand event, attended by renowned personalities from the fields of film, art, and literature, as well as politicians, businessmen, and social workers.
Following the premiere in Sikkim, a second premiere has been scheduled for May 3 in Siliguri, India. The team plans to watch the film with local audiences and well-wishers, gathering feedback, and will also host a promotional event in Darjeeling.
Based on a historic story by literary figure Indra Bahadur Rai, ‘Jaar’ stars Saugat Malla, Anoop Bikram Shahi, and Indian National Film Award-winning actress Geetanjali Thapa in lead roles.
The cinematography of the film is by Saravanan Elavarasu, with editing by Akhilesh Rai. ‘Jaar’ is a collaborative production between Hope Reels, LA Seven Shorts, Baral Studio, and Kewa Production. Executive producers include Neeraj Rai, Nursang Bhutia, Jyoti Chhetri, and Pema Rinzing Lepcha.
