काठमाडौं । जनता समाजवादी पार्टी (जसपा) नेपालले पहिचानको आन्दोलनलाई देशव्यापी रूपमा विस्तार गर्ने भएको छ । पार्टीका प्रचार प्रसार तथा प्रकाशन विभाग प्रमुख पूर्ण बस्नेतले सुनसरीको धरानमा आयोजना हुन लागेको ‘कोशी नाम र केबलबकार खारेजी तथा पहिचानको आन्दोलनको कार्यदिशा विषयक गोष्ठी’ को उद्देश्य देशभर पहिचानको आन्दोलन फैलाउने र पहिचानको आधारमा प्रदेशहरूको पुनः नामाङ्कन गर्ने रहेको जानकारी गराएका छन् ।
संघीयता, गणतन्त्र, धर्मनिरपेक्षता र समानुपातिक समावेशीताको रक्षाका लागि संघर्ष सुरु गर्न लागिएको र उक्त गोष्ठीमा पार्टीका अध्यक्ष उपेन्द्र यादव प्रमुख वक्ताको रुपमा रहने तथा सह–अध्यक्ष रकम चेम्जोङको अध्यक्षतामा कार्यक्रम सञ्चालन हुने बताइएको छ ।
बस्नेतका अनुसार आदिवासी जनजाति, मधेसी, मुस्लिम, दलित, महिला, पिछडिएको वर्ग, अल्पसंख्यक, पछाडि परेका तथा पारिएका जाति र क्षेत्रका जनताको हक अधिकार सुनिश्चित गर्न तथा विद्यमान असमानता, अन्याय, शोषण, उत्पीडन र विभेद अन्त्य गर्न पार्टीले साङ्गठनिक गतिविधि, अन्तरक्रिया तथा संघर्षका विविध कार्यक्रम गर्दै आएको छ ।
नेता रकम चेम्जोङको संयोजकत्वमा गठित आन्दोलन परिचालन तथा समन्वय समितिको आयोजना एवं संयोजनमा आगामी वैशाख २० गते धरानमा उक्त गोष्ठी आयोजना गरिनेछ ।
JSPN to Expand Identity Movement Nationwide
Kathmandu – The Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP) Nepal has announced plans to expand the identity movement across the country. According to Purna Basnet, head of the party’s Publicity and Publication Department, the party aims to promote the identity movement nationwide and push for the renaming of provinces based on identity through a seminar titled “Abolition of Koshi Name and Cable Car Issues and Direction of the Identity Movement” to be held in Dharan, Sunsari.
Basnet stated that the program will serve as the beginning of a broader struggle to protect federalism, republicanism, secularism, and proportional inclusiveness. Party Chairman Upendra Yadav will be the keynote speaker at the event, which will be chaired by Vice-Chairman Rakam Chemjong.
He further informed that the JSP Nepal has been conducting various organizational activities, interactions, and struggle programs to ensure the rights of indigenous nationalities, Madhesis, Muslims, Dalits, women, backward communities, minorities, and marginalized groups, as well as to end existing inequalities, injustice, exploitation, oppression, and discrimination.
The seminar, scheduled for Baisakh 20, will be organized under the coordination of the Movement Mobilization and Coordination Committee led by leader Rakam Chemjong.
