काठमाडौं । तीनकुने घटनासँग सम्बन्धित भएर “नेपाली कांग्रेसका सह-महामन्त्रीका छोरा पक्राउ गरी विना कारबाही छोडिएको” भन्ने विभिन्न सञ्चार माध्यममा आएका समाचारप्रति प्रहरीले गम्भीर ध्यानाकर्षण जनाएको छ।

प्रहरी परिसरले आइतबार एक प्रेस विज्ञप्ति जारी गर्दै घटनासँग सम्बन्धित व्यक्तिलाई नियन्त्रणमा लिएको भन्ने समाचारमा कुनै सत्यता नरहेको स्पष्ट पारेको छ। प्रहरीको भनाइअनुसार, न त परिसरले न त मातहतका कुनै कार्यालयले त्यस्तो कुनै व्यक्तिलाई नियन्त्रणमा लिएको छ।

प्रहरीले यस्ता भ्रामक समाचारप्रति सतर्क रहन र पुष्टि नभएका सूचनाहरू प्रकाशित नगर्न सबैलाई आग्रह गरेको छ।

Police Clarifies on Incident Related to Teen Kune Case

Kathmandu: The police have issued a clarification regarding recent media reports that claimed “the son of a Nepali Congress Deputy General Secretary was detained and released without action” in connection with the Teen Kune incident.

In a statement released on Sunday, the police said there is no truth to the reports that any such individual was taken into custody either by the metropolitan office or its subordinate units.

The police urged all concerned to refrain from spreading unverified information and to exercise caution while reporting sensitive matters.
