भक्तपुर । भक्तपुरमा पहिलो पटक राष्ट्रव्यापी फुल कन्ट्याक्ट किक बक्सिङ प्रतियोगिता आयोजना हुने भएको छ। नेपाल किक बक्सिङ सङ्घ भक्तपुर जिल्ला समितिले पत्रकार सम्मेलन गर्दै आगामी वैशाख १९ र २० गते भक्तपुरको जगातीमा दुई दिने प्रतियोगिता सञ्चालन गरिने जानकारी दिएको हो।
प्रतियोगितामा सातै प्रदेशका २० भन्दा बढी जिल्लाबाट करिब १२० खेलाडीको सहभागिता रहने अनुमान गरिएको छ। सङ्घका अध्यक्ष कृष्णराम जाकिबञ्जारका अनुसार प्रतियोगिताबाट राष्ट्रियस्तरका उत्कृष्ट खेलाडी छनोट गरी भविष्यमा अन्तर्राष्ट्रिय प्रतियोगितामा नेपालको प्रतिनिधित्व गर्न सक्ने खेलाडी तयार गर्ने लक्ष्य लिइएको छ।
अन्तर्राष्ट्रिय मान्यता अनुसार तौल र वर्गगत रूपमा प्रतिस्पर्धा गराइनेछ। पुरुषतर्फ ५१ केजी, ५४ केजी, ५७ केजी, ६३.५ केजी, ६७ केजी, ७५ केजी तथा खुल्ला तौल वर्गमा प्रतिस्पर्धा हुनेछ भने महिलातर्फ ५२ केजी, ५७ केजी, ६० केजी र खुल्ला तौल वर्गमा प्रतिस्पर्धा गरिनेछ।
प्रतियोगिताको विशेष आकर्षणको रूपमा २ वटा प्रो फाइट (व्यावसायिक खेल) समेत समावेश गरिनेछ।
खेलाडीहरूको सुरक्षाका लागि आयोजक समितिले प्रत्येक खेलाडीलाई २ लाख रुपैयाँसम्मको बीमा व्यवस्था गरेको छ। प्रतियोगिता विश्व किक बक्सिङ महासङ्घ (WAKO) द्वारा स्वीकृत K-1 नियमावली अनुसार सञ्चालन हुनेछ। प्रत्येक बाउट ३ राउन्डको हुनेछ र प्रत्येक राउन्ड २ मिनेटको रहनेछ।
प्रतियोगितामा खेलाडीहरूलाई शिल्ड, प्रमाणपत्र र नगद पुरस्कारद्वारा सम्मान गरिनेछ।

Nationwide Full Contact Kickboxing Tournament to be Held for the First Time in Bhaktapur
Bhaktapur. For the first time, a nationwide full contact kickboxing tournament will be organized in Bhaktapur. The Bhaktapur District Committee of the Nepal Kickboxing Association announced at a press conference that the tournament will be held at Jagati, Bhaktapur, on Baisakh 19 and 20 (early May).
Around 120 players from more than 20 districts across all seven provinces are expected to participate. According to Krishna Ram Jakibanjara, President of the Association, the tournament aims to identify top-level national players and train them for future international competitions.
The competition will follow international standards with weight and category divisions. In the men’s division, competitions will be held in 51kg, 54kg, 57kg, 63.5kg, 67kg, 75kg, and open weight categories. In the women’s division, competitions will be in 52kg, 57kg, 60kg, and open weight categories.
Two professional-level (pro-fight) matches will also be a special attraction of the event.
For the safety of players, the organizers have arranged insurance coverage of up to NPR 200,000 for each participant. The tournament will be conducted following the K-1 rules approved by the World Association of Kickboxing Organizations (WAKO). Each bout will consist of three rounds, each lasting two minutes.
Winners will be honored with shields, certificates, and cash prizes.
