काठमाडौं। नेपाली फिचर फिल्म ‘एक्लो’का लागि अभिनेत्री दिया पुनको क्यारेक्टर पोस्टर सार्वजनिक गरिएको छ। आज मातातिर्थ औंशी (आमाको मुख हेर्ने दिन) को अवसर पारेर पोस्टर सार्वजनिक गरिएको हो।
पोस्टर सार्वजनिक गर्दै फिल्मका निर्देशक प्रदीप शाहीले सामाजिक सञ्जालमार्फत लेखेका छन्, “आज हामी गर्वका साथ हाम्रो आफ्नै दिया पुनलाई प्रस्तुत गर्दैछौं – एक प्रतिभाशाली अभिनेत्री, जसको अद्भुत साहसिकता पनि छ, उहाँले सगरमाथा समेत आरोहण गर्नुभएको छ। यो आमाको दिनको अवसरमा, उहाँले फिल्ममा एउटा समर्पित र मायालु आमाको भूमिका निर्वाह गरेको योगदानलाई सम्मान गर्ने उपयुक्त मौका हो। सबै आमाहरूलाई सुखद आमाको दिनको शुभकामना। आउनुहोस्, हामी हाम्रा आमाहरूलाई आज मात्र होइन, उहाँहरूको जीवनभर प्रेम, माया र सम्मान गरौं।”
साइन्स फिक्सनमा आधारित फिल्म ‘एक्लो’ मा दियाको क्यारेक्टर नाम ‘एस्ट्रोनट पुन’ रहेको छ। फिल्मको निर्देशन प्रदीप शाहीले गरेका हुन्। यो उनको तेस्रो निर्देशकीय प्रयास हो। लामो समयदेखि बेलायतमा बसोबास गर्दै आएका शाहीले ‘एक्लो’ लाई हलिउड स्तरको फिल्म बनाउने तयारीमा छन्। हाल फिल्मको पोस्ट-प्रोडक्सन लण्डनमा भइरहेको छ।
केही दिनअघि निर्देशक शाही कान्स प्रोड्यूसर्स नेटवर्कका लागि चयन भएपछि ‘एक्लो’को चर्चा झनै बढेको छ।
फिल्ममा प्रदीप खड्का, विजय लामा, सुनील थापा, दिया पुन, वेनिशा हमाल, दिनेश डीसी, कविता नेपाली, सुरज सिङ ठकुरी, त्रिचु राई, कृष्णभक्त महर्जन, विकास अधिकारी, दिग्गज खत्री, विनोद सुवेदी ‘क्षितिज’, श्रीशेष श्रेष्ठ, बाल कलाकार जेमिन श्रेष्ठ र स्योन सविक सिंह तथा बेलायती अभिनेता जेमी बेकनको अभिनय रहेको छ।
फिल्मका निर्माता राजुकुमार गुरुङ, हरि श्रेष्ठ, विष्णु तामाङ, उत्सव विष्ट, भाइराजा थापा, नवीन सिवा र बागवीर पुन रहेका छन्। कार्यकारी निर्माता विनोद सुवेदी ‘क्षितिज’ हुन्।
बाबु श्रेष्ठको छायांकन रहेको फिल्ममा राजु तामाङको द्वन्द्व निर्देशन, सेट डिजाइन राजु पेन्टरले, कला निर्देशन सन्तोष लामाले र प्रोडक्सन डिजाइन द्रोण प्रसाद पौडेल ‘ठेउके’ले गरेका छन्।

Character Poster of Actress Diya Pun from the Movie ‘Eklo’ Released
Kathmandu – The character poster of actress Diya Pun from the Nepali feature film Eklo has been officially released. The poster was unveiled today on the occasion of Mata Tirtha Aunshi (Mother’s Day in Nepal).
Sharing the poster on social media, director Pradeep Shahi wrote, “Today, we proudly present our very own Diya Pun – a talented actress with incredible bravery who has even summited Mount Everest. On this special day dedicated to mothers, it is the perfect opportunity to honor her contribution by portraying a loving and devoted mother in the film. Wishing a wonderful Mother’s Day to all mothers. Let’s love and respect our mothers not just today but every day throughout their lives.”
Based on a science fiction theme, Diya’s character in Eklo is named “Astronaut Pun.” The film is directed by Pradeep Shahi, marking his third directorial venture. Residing in the United Kingdom for a long time, Shahi aims to create Eklo at a Hollywood standard. The movie is currently in the post-production phase in London.
Director Shahi’s recent selection for the Cannes Producers Network has further heightened the buzz around Eklo.
The film features an ensemble cast including Pradeep Khadka, Vijay Lama, Sunil Thapa, Diya Pun, Benisha Hamal, Dinesh DC, Kavita Nepali, Suraj Singh Thakuri, Trichu Rai, Krishna Bhakta Maharjan, Bikash Adhikari, Diggaj Khatri, Binod Suvedi ‘Kshitiz’, Shreesesh Shrestha, child actors Jemin Shrestha and Syon Sabik Singh, alongside British actor Jamie Bacon.
The producers of Eklo are Raju Kumar Gurung, Hari Shrestha, Bishnu Tamang, Utsav Bista, Bhairaja Thapa, Naveen Shiva, and Bagbir Pun. Binod Suvedi ‘Kshitiz’ serves as the executive producer.
The cinematography is handled by Babu Shrestha, with action direction by Raju Tamang, set design by Raju Painter, art direction by Santosh Lama, and production design by Dron Prasad Poudel ‘Theuke’.
