पोखरा । फेदीखोला गाउँपालिका वडा नं. ३ भाटखोलामा शिवशक्ति क्लबको आयोजनामा नयाँ वर्ष २०८२ को अवसरमा वडास्तरीय पुरुष भलिबल प्रतियोगिता शनिबारदेखि सुरु भएको छ।
खेलको उद्घाटन गर्दै फेदीखोला गाउँपालिका अध्यक्ष घनश्याम सुबेदीले गाउँगाउँमा खेलकुदको विकास गर्नुपर्ने पालिकाको सोच रहेको भन्दै खेलकुदमार्फत युवाले गाउँपालिकाको नाम उज्वल बनाउनु पर्ने बताए। गाउँपालिका उपाध्यक्ष देउकुमारी गुरुङले खेलमा जस्तै व्यवहारिक जीवनमा पनि अनुशासनको महत्व रहेको उल्लेख गरिन्।
उद्घाटन कार्यक्रममा वडा नं. ३ का अध्यक्ष कृष्ण बहादुर रानाभाट, वडा नं. ४ का अध्यक्ष ख्यामनारायण पौडेल र वडा नं. १ का अध्यक्ष अमृत क्षेत्रीले शुभकामना मन्तव्य राखेका थिए।
प्रतियोगितामा ९ वटा टिम सहभागी भएका छन्। आयोजक शिवशक्ति क्लबका ३ टिम, नेवि संघ फेदीखोलाका २ टिम तथा आरुखर्क, मट्टीखान, पातिहाल्ना र खड्केटारी क्षेत्रका १/१ टिम सहभागी छन्। प्रतियोगितामा प्रथम स्थान हासिल गर्ने टोलीले खसी, ट्रफी र मेडल प्राप्त गर्नेछ भने दोस्रो हुने टोलीले दुई वटा कुखुराको भाले, ट्रफी र मेडल प्राप्त गर्ने क्लबका कोषाध्यक्ष कुमार रानाभाटले जानकारी दिए।
भाटखोलाको माझखेत क्षेत्रमा खेतको गरामा भलिबल कोर्ट निर्माण गरी आयोजना गरिएको प्रतियोगिता हेर्न सयौं दर्शकको उपस्थिति रहेको थियो। उद्घाटन समारोहमा अतिथिहरू तथा उनीहरूका आफन्तलाई सम्मान पत्र, खादा र अबिरले सम्मान गरिएको थियो।
त्यस्तै फेदीखोला प्रहरी चौकी, भाटखोला स्वास्थ्य चौकी, शिवालय आमा समूह र सांस्कृतिक प्रस्तुति दिने कलाकारहरूलाई कदरपत्र र प्रशंसा पत्र प्रदान गरिएको क्लब अध्यक्ष ताराबहादुर रानाभाटले जानकारी दिए।
कार्यक्रम अध्यक्षता क्लब अध्यक्ष ताराबहादुर रानाभाटले गरेका थिए भने स्वागत तथा प्रतियोगिताको विवरण क्लब सल्लाहकार कुलबहादुर रानाभाटले प्रस्तुत गरेका थिए। कार्यक्रमको सञ्चालन जनप्रिय माविका शिक्षक पदम बहादुर रानाभाटले गरेका थिए।

Ward-Level Men’s Volleyball Tournament Begins in Fedikhola
Pokhara — On the occasion of New Year 2082, a ward-level men’s volleyball tournament organized by Shivashakti Club has commenced at Bhatkhola, Ward No. 3 of Fedikhola Rural Municipality.
Inaugurating the tournament, Fedikhola Rural Municipality Chairman Ghanshyam Subedi emphasized that the municipality is committed to developing sports at the grassroots level and encouraged youths to bring glory to the municipality through sports. Vice-Chairperson Deukumari Gurung highlighted the importance of discipline both in sports and in practical life.
During the opening program, Ward No. 3 Chairman Krishna Bahadur Ranabhat, Ward No. 4 Chairman Khyamnarayan Paudel, and Ward No. 1 Chairman Amrit Chhetri delivered their best wishes.
Altogether nine teams are participating in the tournament, including three teams from Shivashakti Club, two teams from the Nepali Congress-affiliated Federation in Fedikhola, and one team each from Arukhark, Mattikhan, Patihalna, and Khadketari. According to Club Treasurer Kumar Ranabhat, the winner will receive a goat, a trophy, and medals, while the runner-up will be awarded two roosters, a trophy, and medals.
The tournament is being held on a newly built volleyball court in the fields of Majhkhet in Bhatkhola, attracting hundreds of spectators. At the inauguration, guests and their family members were honored with certificates, khadas, and vermillion powder.
Fedikhola Police Post, Bhatkhola Health Post, Shivaliya Mothers’ Group, and artists who performed cultural programs were also honored with appreciation certificates, informed Club President Tarabahadur Ranabhat.
The program was chaired by Club President Tarabahadur Ranabhat, with a welcome speech and tournament overview presented by club advisor and Ward No. 3 member Kulbahadur Ranabhat. The program was conducted by Janapriya Secondary School teacher Padam Bahadur Ranabhat.
