काठमाडौं — संवैधानिक राजसंस्था पुनर्स्थापनाका लागि सक्रिय संयुक्त जनआन्दोलन समितिले गत चैत १५ गते तीनकुनेमा भएको घटनामा सरकार पक्षबाट भएको मानव अधिकार उल्लंघनबारे राष्ट्रिय तथा अन्तर्राष्ट्रिय मानव अधिकार संस्थाहरूको ध्यानाकर्षण गराएको छ।
संयुक्त जनआन्दोलन समितिका संयोजक नवराज सुवेदीको नेतृत्वमा समितिले शुक्रबार संयुक्त राष्ट्र संघीय मानव अधिकार उच्च आयुक्तको कार्यालय (UN OHCHR) र राष्ट्रिय मानव अधिकार आयोगमा औपचारिक निवेदन पेश गरेको हो। उक्त अवसरमा समितिका निर्देशन समिति सदस्य हरीबहादुर बस्नेत पनि सहभागी थिए।
तीनकुने घटनासम्बन्धी मानव अधिकार उल्लंघनको विस्तृत विवरण शुक्रबार आयोजना गरिने पत्रकार सम्मेलनमार्फत सार्वजनिक गरिने समितिले जनाएको छ।
डिल्ली बजारस्थित भोजन गृहमा अपराह्न ४ बजे तय गरिएको पत्रकार सम्मेलनमा संयोजक सुवेदीले सम्बोधन गर्ने कार्यक्रम रहेको छ।
Human Rights Violations in Tinkune Incident: Joint People’s Movement Committee Appeals to National and International Organizations
Kathmandu — The Joint People’s Movement Committee, actively campaigning for the reinstatement of the constitutional monarchy, has drawn the attention of national and international human rights organizations regarding human rights violations allegedly committed by the government side during the Tinkune incident on Chaitra 15.
On Friday, the committee, led by Coordinator Navaraj Subedi, submitted a formal petition to the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights (UN OHCHR) and the National Human Rights Commission. Subedi was accompanied by Hari Bahadur Basnet, a member of the committee’s directive team, during the submission.
The committee has announced that detailed information regarding the human rights violations will be made public at a press conference scheduled for Friday.
Coordinator Subedi is set to address the press conference, which will be held at Bhojan Griha, Dillibazar, starting at 4 PM.
