The Nepal Calendar Determination Development Committee has urged the concerned sides to compulsorily take approval for the publication of calendar.The Committee made such appeal to all stakeholders for the approval as per the Nepal Calendar Determination Development Committee Formation Order, 2077 BS and the rules under the Order.

Issuing a press note today, Committee’s Executive Director Surya Prasad Dhungel has asked to all for taking such approval from the Committee for the publishing all sorts of calendars.

The Committee has stated that those from out of the Kathmandu Valley can lodged their request online and the approval would be given through the same way.It is said that the calendars published without prior approval would be booked. For this purpose, a Monitoring Committee has been formed under the chair of the Chief of Cultural Division of the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation, which comprises Ministry of Home representative as well.

Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation has also prepared a monitoring directives to this end.
