CPN (Unified Socialist) Chairperson Madhav Kumar Nepal has said his party gave vote of confidence to Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ with the hope and expectation that he would speed up the work of development construction and control corruption.
He however said his party gave vote of confidence setting 15-point condition. At a programme organised by the All Nepal National Independent Student Union, close to the CPN (Unified Socialist) here on Wednesday, Chairperson Nepal shared that he was hopeful that PM Dahal would carry out activities as per people’s expectation. His party would continue its support to the government even by staying in opposition.
Nepal urged the Prime Minister to focus his attention to fulfill the commitments made before taking vote of confidence. The CPN (Unified Socialist) will always knock the government on the issues of nation, nationality and people’s livelihood, he added. The CPN (Unified Socialist) Chairperson alerted PM Dahal to move ahead, keeping the spirit and sentiments of the Constitution in mind.
