CPN (UML)’s central deputy general-secretary Prithvi Subba Gurung pointed out the need for the political parties to correct their course reflecting the results of recent elections wherein people have shown their preference to independent candidates than that of the political parties.
In his address to the 15th general assembly of the Federation of Nepali Journalists (FNJ) Lamjung district chapter held at Besisahar municipality-3, Kaulepani on Friday, he said there have been increasing public grievances in the name of the parties for their failure to live up to the political principles.
He stressed the need for journalists to work based on truth and facts rather not any political belief or interest.
