National Assembly (NA) Chairman Ganesh Prasad Timilsina has said that Nepal’s education system should be made qualitative to produce competitive human resource in the global market.Addressing the 49th anniversary of Shiva Secondary School at Kawasoti of Nawalparasi (Bardaghat Susta Purba) on Thursday, the National Assembly Chairman said we need to focus on producing globally competitive human resources besides for our national needs and added that quality education is imperative for this to materialize.
He also suggested that the government should ensure teachers in proportion to the students’ number adding that unequal distribution of teachers has created difficulties in quality education.Also speaking at the event, Chief Minister of Gandkai Province Krishna Chandra Pokharel said that a master plan should be prepared for the development of education with a clear prospect on planning and investment modality.
On the occasion, NA Chairman Timilsina and Chief Minister Pokharel inaugurated two newly-constructed buildings of Shiva Secondary School.
