Chairperson of Nepal Samajbadi Party, Dr Baburam Bhattarai has said the demise of Nepali Congress leader Pradeep Giri has caused a heavy loss to the evolution of a new socialist current. Recalling that his continuous association and deep intellectual discourse with Giri for 45 years had provided him with much energy, former Prime Minister Bhattarai stated that he has become speechless on Giri’s demise.

“His passing is an immense loss to we all who have been working in the development of a new socialist current,” Bhattarai tweeted this morning. He has paid tributes to the late Giri and expressed condolences to the bereaved family.
