Federal Council chairperson of the Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP) Dr Baburam Bhattarai has blamed its executive committee chair Upendra Yadav for poor performance and bad governance in managing the party. He accused Yadav of failing to propel reforms within the party. Dr Bhattarai also questioned party’s ideology and its organisational structure, leadership and modality and clarified he had two alternatives either to advance alternative political idea or merge unify with a party having similar ideology.
The former Prime Minister was addressing an extended meeting of the party central committee members close to him at a party palace in Jadibuti on Tuesday. Presenting his political report in the meeting, he viewed that party reform was indispensable and integral no matter what legitimate majority the party has. The meeting is authorised to take a solid and tangible decision on how to advance reforms within the party, according to the political report tabled by leader Bhattarai.
