Kathmandu- The Ministry of Communications and Information Technology has directed the bodies under the Ministry to make their service effective by using timely technology.Minister for Communications and Information Technology, Nainkala Thapa, issued this directives after monitoring the bodies under the ministry—Nepal Television, Nepal Telecom Authority, Nepal Telecom Company Limited, Department of Information and Broadcasting, Press Council Nepal and Minimum Wages Fixation Committee.
Issuing a press release, the Ministry called the chiefs of the bodies to carry out works by considering their own institutional responsibilities. The Ministry said it would always be active to make the service delivery effective and to receive the targeted goals by using timely technology.
Minister Thapa had visited the concerned bodies from July 13 after assuming the office at the Ministry.
She asked the chiefs to carry out work execution along with timely action plan keeping the country and people’s interest at the centre. She had also visited the office of the Federation of Nepali Journalists.
During the visit, the bodies had presented their activities, status of the implementation of their prgrammes and budget, present situation of the organisations, future action plan and budget for the coming fiscal year.
