The country reported 12 new cases of coronavirus infection from 2,341 sample tests in the past 24 hours, the Ministry of Health and Population said. Likewise, 16 infected ones got recovered from the disease during the same period.Currently, there are 93 active cases of the coronavirus infection across the country. Of them 92 are in home isolation while next one is in institutional isolation centre.

Of the three districts of the Kathmandu Valley, Kathmandu district has 18 active cases and four equal in Lalitpur and Bhaktapur, it is said.According to the Ministry, the recovery rate of the coronavirus infection in Nepal is 98.8 per cent. Similarly, the Ministry said more than 385,900 individuals received COVID-19 vaccines in the past 24 hours.
