After downfall of Soviet Union, particularly Eastern Europe, Ukraine and other former Soviet Union member countries have to reconfigure their states & status.
It was by then one of the mixed & tough emotions of 1990s forming new world order.
While core country of the former Soviet Union , Russia struggling economically & politically, It is not secret that West found great opportunity to expand their ideologies and bring most of the former members of the former Soviet Union to their side.
But sudden rise of Russia was not expected and particularly in military power with hypersonic missiles with 5th-6th generations fighter jets/S-500 air defense system, Atomic Submarines with ICBM, New modernizations of Land/Air/Naval forces Russia gains confidence and retained
Powerful country’s status again .
Particularly Putin era changed, changing with new doctrine that triggered the War between Russia & Ukraine.
It has proved that although Cold War ended mentality of East Vs West most precisely Socialism Vs Capitalism never ended regardless officially no more socialism in Russia.
Result of this old Cold War mentality & policy brought this crisis & deadly war between Russia & Ukraine.
Russian version:
it’s like a game of chess NATO is expanding & encircling Russia using by many former eastern block countries & if continue like this particularly close door neighbor Ukraine 2nd largest European country will become NATO member means, it’s check- mate to Russia regardless they have highly sophisticated weapons , leading military power as stated above.
On the other hand Ukrainian version:
It is free an independent country and choice of country can not detour by 3rd countries desire & their influences. They want to be part of NATO and they want to follow west instead Russia.
NATO’s version:
NATO open to bring any country as it’s member and no restrictions & limit. It also
has double standards policy particularly in case of the Ukraine. It is involving directly in military training assistance, aid helping financially, politically & militarily but not granting member to avoid direct confrontation with Russia.
NATO’s position no boots in Ukrainian territory.
These three controversial different versions as defined above eventually made fail of diplomacy and triggered war between Russia & Ukraine.
It’s beyond Ukraine’s own war, it has complex issues.
And definitely great disadvantages for the Ukrainians and Ukraine. Reason behind it’s war between heavyweight Vs light weight. Another disadvantages landscape mostly plain and direct confrontation is imminent.
Among total population of 44 millions of Ukraine approximately 10-12 millions are Russians origin.
How to stop war ?
Work on the disagreements as stated above finding midway to fix above three versions to save lives, displacement of millions of Ukrainian and nuclear or 3rd great world war.
There shall be new modern approach and new form of NATO instead war strategy defensive or offensive type nature need to transfer to the new economical block involving Russia in Europe with it.
Also West, NATO, USA & Russia to remember & learn a lesson how Cuban nuclear crisis was saved with the joint effort of USA & the Soviet Union those days and brought long term peace?
Russia & Ukraine must stop war negotiating directly between two countries first to prevent further damages , destruction of infrastructure and lives as stated above its not war between equal power. It must stop!
Negotiations definitely needs give & take certain sacrifices understanding mutually and being rational.
It’s still possible to stop war not letting the further escalation of war.
Immediate peace treaty is essential & urgent as stated considering each version of Russia, Ukraine & NATO as explained above.
Little sacrifices from Russia , Ukraine, NATO, WEST & USA still can save many lives, Ukraine & Great imminent disasters !
History has witnessed all the time only Peace can be ultimate winner!
It’s urgent call for immediate ceasefire between Russia-Ukraine and same path shall follow, where wars are still continue.
World peace, unity among all countries & people is the only way to go!
