The country has recorded a total of 271 new cases of COVID-19 and 225 recoveries in the past 24 hours, according to the Ministry of Health and Population. During the period, altogether 10,886 PCR sample tests were carried out.
So far, 819,000 infected ones have got rid of the virus.

Meanwhile, an individual succumbed to the coronavirus infection in the past 24 hours. With this, the total deaths caused due to COVID-19 have reached 11,568.The Ministry said that 568,319 doses of COVID-19 vaccines were given to the people across the country today.
