Dolpa, Sept 25 – Chief Minister of Karnali Province Mahendra Bahadur Shahi has said exploitation of resources from Karnali Province was crucial as it is a mass of ‘gold’.Saying that Province government was identifying multiple potentials of Karnali, Shahi claimed that his government was working sincerely to figure out the bright future of the province.

The Chief Minister said it while inaugurating the administrative building of Jagadulla Rural Municipality in Dolpa district on Saturday. Of the eight local levels, Jagadulla Rural Municipality is the first in the district to have its own administrative building.Minister for Economic Affairs of Karnali Gopal Sharma said that Jagadulla hydropower project would ensure the good future of the people here.

Industry, Tourism, Forest and Environment Minister of Karnali Nanda Singh Budha, former Internal Affairs Minister Naresh Bhandari and other leaders had reached Dolpa to attend the inaugural ceremony of the administrative office.
The 32-room building was built at Rs 45 million in partnership with the local and federal governments.
Likewise, Chief Minister Shahi inaugurated a residential school for Dalit children in ward no. 6 of the rural municipality.(RSS)
