Kathmandu, May 12 – The major opposition party Nepali Congress (NC) has demanded with the government to arrange aircrafts to ferry medical goods that remain stranded in various airports in China. The medical appliances procured by Nepali companies for Covid-19 response were left unattended in China for lack of aircrafts to fly them home.Issuing a press statement, NC’s chief whip Bal Krishna Khand here today urged the government and the authorities concerned to facilitate in bringing those medical goods.
Stating that the covid-19 cases and fatalities were rising in the country, the NC drew the attention of the government to make sure that the citizens, especially the Covid-19 patients, avail healthcare services at the time of health crisis like this. (RSS)
