Coronavirus infection has been confirmed in 357 more people in the past 24 hours in the country. This was revealed in 3,357 samples tested in various laboratories across the country during the same period, according to the Ministry of Health and Population.
Similarly, 62 people have been recovered from the flu-like infection. This takes the recovery caseload to 968,126. The recovery rate is at 98.6 per cent, the Minister informed.Currently, the number of active cases stands at 1,982. Among them, 1,865 were being treated in home-isolation, 117 in institutional isolation and 11 in ICU. While no COVID-19 related fatality was reported today, those succumbing to the deadly infection has reached 11,954 till date.
Meanwhile, 36,348 people were vaccinated against COVID-19 today alone, shared the Ministry.
Kathmandu is the only district having over 500 actives cases of COVID-19 at present while eight districts have no active cases including Manang and Mustang.
