Bodybuilder Raju Rai has won bronze in the 54th Asian Bodybuilding and Physique Sports Championship, 2022 underway in the Maldives. He won the prize in up to 170 cm category, said the team manager Dinesh Rajbhandari, also Vice President of the Nepal Bodybuilding and Fitness Association (NBFA). Various 24 countries took part under this category, he said.

On the occasion, the International Federation of Bodybuilding and Fitness honoured the NBFA President Rajesh Babu Shrestha with the ‘distinguish award’ for his contribution to the development of bodybuilding, said Rajbhandari. Meanwhile, Nepal is set to host the 55th Asian Bodybuilding and Physique Sports Championship, 2023.
