Godavari, June 14- The Sudurpaschim Government is preparing to bring the budget for the upcoming fiscal year 2078-79 BS (2021-22 ) tomorrow or June 14. According to the Economic Affairs and Planning Ministry, the estimated size of the budget would be of around Rs 29 billion. It may be noted that the province government announced the budget of Rs 33.5 billion for the current fiscal year.

As the ministry said, the size of fresh budget would be smaller than of the current budget as the equalization grants and special grants provided by the central government has been reduced and there is savings in the current fiscal year’s budget as well.

Around two billion of development budget has remained unspent as the prohibitory order taken against the COVID-19 crisis hampered the development endevours, said Khagendra Saund, information officer at the ministry. (RSS)
