A total of 111 new coronavirus infections and one death were recorded in the country in the past 24 hours, according to the Ministry of Health and Population.

This was revealed after 9,710 antigen and PCR tests conducted in various laboratories across the country in same period, according to the Ministry. Similarly, 415 infected persons enjoyed full recovery in a day. So far, 956,413 people have recovered from the flu-like infection. The recovery rate stands at 97.9 per cent.

With one fatality in the past 24 hours, the total fatality has reached 11,935. The fatality rate stands at 1.2 per cent.
Currently, there are 8,517 active cases of COVID-19 in the country.Meanwhile, 41,369 were vaccinated against COVID-19 today alone, shared the Ministry.
